A bill outlawing all abortions - even in the case of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother -- is scheduled for a hearing in the Ohio House of Representatives on Tuesday.
Right wing antics to win elections? You bet. Tapping into misogeny to garner votes? Absolutely.

Yet another reason I'm glad there's a bit of West Virginia between me and most of Ohio.
Craven? Yes.

i wonder what they might say if someone tried to pass an amendment mandating that if a wonan dies after being denied an abortion even tho her life was threatened by carrying the pregnancy to term and trying to give birth, that the father of that woman's child would automatically be sentenced for involuntary manslaughter at the least?
bet the lawmakers would think twice about that.
